Using questions to reflect on what matters most to you
Reflections in Garner work by the user creating a set of questions that they answer when filling out their reflective journal.
These questions are completely customisable and you can add, delete or re-order the questions that you are asked at anytime, without those changes impacting your previous reflections.
Adding a question
To add a question to answer as part of a reflection:
- Go to Settings
- Press “Add Question” under the “Questions to answer in your reflections” section
- Enter the question text
- Press the enter key on the keyboard
This will then update the list of questions used for any new reflections
Deleting a question
To delete a question in the question list:
- Go to Settings
- Swipe left on the question you want to delete
- Press the “Delete” button
This will then update the list of questions used for any new reflections.
Please note that if you delete the last question in the question list then doing so will disable your ability to create new reflections (as you’ll have no questions to answer) and it will pause your reflection reminder if you have one set up.
Re-ordering the questions
To change the order that the questions are shown to you in the reflection:
- Go to Settings
- Press and hold on the question you wish to change the order of
- Drag the question to the position in the question list you wish to move it to
- Release the question at that position
This will update the list of questions used for any new reflections.
